Mixing of GM products in the food chain, Transfer of allergenic genes, Loss of farmers' access to plant material. I'm reading these articles on this page and wondering at the voices collected here - how biased they sound. "Without scientific justification" ? have you lived in an intellectual bubble? i don't mean to sound rude, i am curious as to how any human could not consider the possible long-term affects of any significant change in manipulating genetic material. are you considering the People who are involved, not to mention the impact it can have on biodiversity? have you read both arguments on this issue. this is what frustrates me - the ego reads what supports its ideology, without careful consideration of the opposing argument. Suicide seeds? are you a poor farmer forced to purchase seeds and fertilizer from monsanto? have you spoken with these people, heard their hardships and stories. step out of the organized and careful life you live in and see how others are impacted by such biotechnology. we must question technology and its assumed benefits.
